This profile is of the Clubs Gentle Giant, Pete 'Bear' Clements. Bear can be found in the club most days drinking Cinzano and Diet Sprite due to his Slimathon for charity. Although telling Chris to get plenty of bottles of the stuff in was a bad idea!!! Bear takes part in most activities put on by the Pot Black including Snooker Compo's, Quiz Nights and is a mean golf player making him a great aquisition in the Cyder Cup (the annual Pot Black Golf Tournament). Bear is willing to help anyone out if he possibly can, normally the Pot Black boys with a room at his Guest House on a Saturday Night.

Who are you favourite Pot Black members and why?
My favourite group of Pot Black members are the Tuesday Night Summer League players due to the fact then whenever they play rubbish… they always have a valid excuse, for example the jackpot is due on the fruities!!!
In your opinion what is the best thing about the Pot Black?
Obviously the lovely staff and punters, plus special moments like seeing Chris’ face at xmas when he’s just come out of the gents to ask who’s left another chocolate log in the loo!!!
Name the person you’d most like to meet?
Alex Higgins (although I do see his alter ego every Monday Night) [Joe]
If you could have a dinner date with anyone who would it be?
Gemma R (Bar Person) because she’s always on a Cambridge diet so it’ll be cheap, plus I could probably eat half of hers as well!!!
What are your ambitions in life?
To never see a bottle of Cinzano again…. Thanks Chris!!

Woodys Snooker Cue (just beat me again…GIT!), Wally’s Wallet and a member of the Pot Black bar staff (I’m guessing either Rod, Ian or Chris!)
Anything you’d change about your body?
My Eyes, as it seems to take me longer and longer to get home from the Pot Black of a night
